Visiting hours
IVCH welcomes visitors to and family members of our patients. Here is a list of visiting hours for the hospital’s nursing units and other important information.
Medical/surgical units
- 2 South and 3 South
- 1 to 8 p.m.
- Parents of pediatric patients are welcome anytime.
Intensive care unit
- Adjusted according to patient’s degree of illness.
- Call ahead at 815.780-3558 to determine if the patient you wish to visit can receive visitors.
- If you’re at IVCH, dial 3558 on the ICU waiting room telephone before entering the unit.
Obstetrics unit
- Open visiting for mother’s partner and her children.
- Others: 2 to 8:30 p.m.
- Children restricted to siblings of the newborn.
Day surgery
- No restrictions.
