What injuries do you treat?

The IVCH sports medicine staff treats all athletic injuries, including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair of knees, ankle injuries and labrum repair of shoulders.

Do you have to be involved in competitive sports to be seen in the sports clinic?

No. We will see any individual who has sustained an injury during athletic participation.

Do you have to be referred by your family doctor to be seen in the sports clinic?

No. A referral is not necessary but your insurance may require preauthorization prior to attending the sports clinic.

When and where is the IVCH sports clinic held?

The sports clinic is offered every Monday by appointment. Appointments usually begin around 3 p.m. following the dismissal of school. The sports clinic is located in the physical rehabilitation services department in the lower level of IVCH.
