Job Description

A licensed professional nurse must be able to meet the needs of patients of all ages physically, socially and emotionally; must be able to accept responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for an assigned group of patients; responsible for own personal and professional growth.

Criteria: Must provide availability to work 12 hours per week on B/C shift; Required to provide 12 hours of weekend coverage per month; Must provide availability for 1 holiday per year - holidays will rotate forward (example: if working Labor Day this year, then next year Thanksgiving will be worked)

Qualifications

Education / Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; completion of an associates degree level RN or higher; BSN not required but preferred

Licensure / Certification: Registered Professional Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Illinois; current CPR certification

Other Knowledge / Skills: Basic computer skills; good interpersonal communication skills; ability to function independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing, or pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment; ability to understand oral and written instructions.

Salary Range: $30.00 per hour
